The Vineyards:
Our new Merlot comes from grapes harvested at the beautiful Vineyard at Country Rose, an historical estate in San Martin.

Tasting Notes:
This medium bodied Merlot offers a bouquet of plum, and red cherry with hints of cedar, eucalyptus and cola. The mouthfeel showing the leathery tannins well, with the fruit interlaced and tasting of plum, cherry and blueberry. The medium long finish follows with dried plum and cherry with a notes of dark chocolate and walnut*.

This will stand up to lightly sauced or marinated grilled meats, meat loaf and anything with garlic. Tri-tip would be an ideal pairing with this Merlot!
